The SEL2450G is the Sony FE 24–50mm F2.8 G, a compact full-frame standard zoom lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras. It covers a useful 24–50mm focal range, making it ideal for everyday photography such as travel, portraits, street photography, and video work.

It features a constant F2.8 aperture, which means it stays bright throughout the zoom range, helping in low-light conditions and providing smoother background blur (bokeh). As part of Sony’s G series, it delivers excellent sharpness, natural color reproduction, and fast, quiet autofocus, while keeping the lens lightweight and portable compared to traditional 24–70mm zooms.
