The SEL1635Z is the Sony FE 16–35mm F4 ZA OSS, a full-frame wide-angle zoom lens made in collaboration with ZEISS.It offers a 16–35mm focal length range, making it ideal for landscape, architecture, interiors, travel, and group photography. The lens has a constant F4 aperture, so exposure stays consistent while zooming, and it includes Optical SteadyShot (image stabilization) to reduce blur in handheld shooting.
Being part of the ZEISS Vario-Tessar T series*, it uses high-quality optics and coatings to deliver good sharpness, strong contrast, and reduced flare, while keeping the design relatively compact and lightweight compared to faster f/2.8 zoom lenses.
